Becca McCurdy, AMFT

Registered Associate MFT under supervision by Rebecca Roth, LMFT # 45874

Becca believes therapy is a collaborative endeavor toward self-understanding and authentic action. She guides individuals in cultivating kind, curious attention toward their experience and the patterns they have developed to make it here. Becca holds a therapeutic space that invites individuals to experience all of who they are, without judgment. Together, we try out new ways of relating to your journey, and get to know your needs and goals.

Becca sees each person in the context of their intersecting identities and environments. She invites mind, body, and spirit into the work through narrative, somatic (or body-inclusive), and trauma-informed approaches. This may look like connecting with resources from the nervous system to nature, creativity, other humans, and sources of joy. Modalities she draws from are relational, holistic and systems-oriented and include mindfulness, parts work, Ecotherapy, and depth psychology.

Becca works with individuals and families experiencing grief, addictions, complex childhood trauma, attachment wounding and life transitions, as well as the effects of anxiety, depression, and relational challenges. Becca began her journey in the mental health field while working in schools in the beautiful foothills of the Sierras. After completing her master's degree in counseling psychology at the California Institute of Integral Studies, she most recently worked with clients in residential substance use recovery. She has experience and knowledge of the challenges children, adults, and families face, as well as the unique bonds they share and the inner capacity of healing, wholeness, and recovery. She is honored to work with clients at Saratoga Therapy.
