Chun Lin, AMFT, APCC

Chun believes in the profound inner power of individuals and places great importance on connecting with the body and authentic self. Her therapeutic style is warm, empathetic, relational, and process-oriented, integrating neuroscience and systems thinking to foster holistic healing.

Chun has received training in person-centered therapy, psychodynamic therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), internal family systems (IFS), mindfulness, EMDR therapy, somatic therapy, existential therapy, hypnotherapy, and career counseling. She specializes in assisting individuals with managing anxiety and depression, healing from complex trauma, navigating relationship and parenting challenges, addressing existential concerns, and improving career satisfaction and self-esteem.

As an immigrant and mother of three children, Chun has over twenty years of firsthand cross-cultural parenting experience. This background gives her a deep understanding of the unprecedented challenges of raising children in a different culture and today's digital age. She is passionate about empowering and supporting tweens/teens and their families to navigate intricate family dynamics, conflicts, communication and emotional challenges.

Chun holds a master's degree in counseling psychology from Santa Clara University and bachelor's and master's degrees in electrical engineering from Zhejiang University and San Jose State University. In addition to being a psychotherapist, Chun has worked as a software engineer for many years and currently holds an executive position at a tech company. In her free time, she enjoys yoga, music, reading, traveling, and spending time in nature. Besides English, Chun also speaks Mandarin Chinese.
