Blythe is excited to be part of the outstanding team at Saratoga Therapy. She believes that trust, safety, and curiosity are the three most helpful ingredients in an effective relationship between the client and the therapist, and she enjoys nurturing these three elements in her work.
She works from a person-centered therapy perspective, with a strong focus on the body and somatics, and family of origin dynamics and family systems. When the brain gets blocked by an emotional roadblock, the body can often offer clues and insights to overcome it, and fostering that mind-body connection can many times be the key to illuminating the next necessary step towards a solution.
Whether her clients struggle with anxiety, depression, grief, or any other life challenge, she partners with them in a collaborative way. They both work as a team to approach whatever issue the client might be facing.
